Even though I did attend film school and did take actual compositing and visual effects classes, Slimed was definitely where all my real education came from. It was a 3 year endeavor between me and my childhood best-friend Jeff Nitzberg and during that period I experienced more failures, mistakes, costly errors and goofs that had me screaming at my computer then any man should have to deal with. Slimed has a multitude of effect shots, probably about 50 in total, that range from simple laser gun blasts to an earthquake so epic that the entire state of Florida splits off from the rest of the country. In hindsight, I had no idea what I was getting into.

For now - I'm just leaving the trailer on here. In the future - I'll post a collection of effect shots and do a brief run down of what went on behind the scenes and how the effect was achieved. I know it's no Transformers 2, but I'll take an exploding child over Michael Bay any day.
